Arthur Tamazian is an Associate Professor of Economics and Finance at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC). Having pursued his PhD from USC in Quantitative Finance he completed his studies at Harvard University. He has collaborated with Denver University (USA), Aarhus School of Business (Denmark), Western Sydney (Australia), Drhuva School of Business (India) or University of Coimbra (Portugal), among others. He also acted as a consultant to the World Bank and International Monetary Fund. Dr. Tamazian has published in internationally recognized journal such as Energy Economics, Energy Policy, Journal of Common Market Studies, Economic Modeling or Applied Economics, among others. He is a board member of editorial committee of The Indian Journal of Management, a peer reviewed journal. Apart from his academic career, Dr. Tamazian has more than 12 years of financial management and corporate finance experience and has led a variety of companies at different stages, mainly holding the position of CFO in global corporations. He also acted as external consultant for several international corporations.
